You can sponsor a child's education for his/her formal education or non-formal education. Formal education includes going to a nearby recognized school, whereas non-formal education incldues activities in Bal Vikas Kendra (Parichay).

Formal Education

The estimated cost for a child education is 4000/- per year. This includes tution fees, uniform, books, bag, shoes, miscellenous expenditure (minor medicines, educational trips).

Non-formal Education

The child studies in the NFE program of Parichay. The sponsorship for this program is 75/child/month. You may donate (per year):

• Rs. 900 for one child
• Rs. 1800 for two children
• Rs. 2700 for three children

Note : Amounts mentioned above might change due to change in schools fees, uniform price etc.

The month march started off with Women’s Day celebration at our project Parichay. On 8th March, AID Delhi volunteers, along with Vijay Bajpai celebrated women’s day at our new center for mentally retarted children [gyan ganga project]. The community women who were working at Parichay’s masala making unit along with the children came up with lot of enthusiasms. A few talk by the community women initiated the program followed by a few fun games including eating the oranges. Then a small talk by volunteer with them was the highlight of the program. Nutrtion program at parichay is continuing to be a success and the children are dwelling at their best.

1. Parichay has a masala stall at ST and the sales was more than Rs.9000/-
2. Selva has started his science class with the children and so far two classes have been held
3. Deepti a new volunteer is teaching drawing classes for the children
4. Deepti will also take charge of the website soon.
5. Children’s newsletter have been released
6. New Parichay’s Gyan Ganga project is rolling slowly with the survey part on. A project proposal has been sent to HCL for supporting.
7. Agra trip planned for the mid of march.
