AID Delhi volunteers visited Parichay on May 15, 2004. Parichay is a small organization that works for education of children living in slums of Tukhmirpur in Bhajanpura. After this visit, AID Delhi started supporting Parichay with volunteer time and also efforts to attain sustainability.

Date: 9th March, 2008 Attended by: Selva, Darshan, Rana Pujari, Umang (New volunteer from IIT ) Anshul and Abhinav - Anshul from thytech solutions explained how the health software made by him could be used for maintaining health records at various Projects. He asked for the various fields and requirements so that the software can be customized as per our wishes
- We'll soon mail the details to Anshul soon
- Also discussion was held regarding fund generation and awareness generation from Biking trip plannned by Kunal and his friends thisJune. Ideas to involve Media and corporates were discussed
- We are also planning to make a pledge form soon and approach individuals as well as corporates.

AID Delhi Movie Club was finally launched on 9th March with screening of "Faecal Attraction" . Attended by Selva, Darshan, Rana, Umang, Lavanya and Abhinav from AID Delhi and about 14 NSS volunteers. The movie was really wonderful and gave an alarming insight about thesituation of our rivers and and dismal and inadequate Sewage system. After the movie interactive discussion session was held among the volunteers.Productive discussion was held on several points. Idea was floated to treat all the sewage generated by IIT in IIT itself. This seems feasible and workable. Movie Club plans to screen such wonderful and informative movies every month.

Date: 20th January, 2008 Members Attended: Ritesh, Selva, Jyoti, Abhinav, Karthick, Lavanya, Sanjeev, Ritu(Partly) - It was decided that collaboration with thytech solution would happen after a formal demonstation of their software and after a formal agreement of thytech solution with AID Delhi
- Since no one from Aashayen were present we decided to wait till Aashayen team submits the budget for the fancy dress event planned on 17th February.
- We are in due almost in all our projects where health camps haven't taken place since Oct (If I am correct). So it was decided that we will talk to the doctors as soon as possible and organize health camps soon.
- Selva told the members about collaborating with Balaswa Lok Shakthi Manch and starting a campaign along with them to ensure their houses where they are currently living stays with them.
- Activist Dunu Roy had earlier discussed with Selva and they have sent a proposal to AID US to support the entire campaign. Selva will soon meet Dunu Roy and find out the possible plans
- Karthick expresed his desire to visit Balaswa once and chip in with his plans of livelihood generation plan.
- Selva and Karthick will soon visit Balaswa once and explore more.

After a long wait, finally we are launching our Film Club from 9th March, 2008 (Sunday) and we will have 2 film screened this Sunday and a discussion after that. We also will have a CSH following the Film Screening. Request for everyone to attend the screening as well as the CSH. The Movies which will be discussed this weekend are: 1. Fecal Attraction. Duration - 32 Min Summary: Fecal Attraction is about water pollution and water scarcity , it also talks about Water divide and how the rich people pollute water and the poor get blammed for it. 2. Right Now Right Here. Duration - 25 Min Right here Right now is a movie about how our attitude and our behaviour influence everyone and everything around us.
The discussion would be for the next 30 mins after the movie and will be followed with CSH.
