Tara - Overview PDF Print E-mail

Started in the month of October 2006, this Programme called TARA aims at providing non-formal education to under privileged children.

There is a construction site, which is located behind the department of English, has about 27 couples working as construction workers under a local builder, making it a good forty-five children who require primary education. However, these children don’t get access to education because their parents can’t afford it. So we decided to tackle the problem of education headlong. We could see that the only one way of correcting this problem was to involve a few more committed students in our outreach.
