Methods of Approach: Clear mechanisms for mainstreaming children into a formal education system of choice. Promotion of cognitive, motor & social development Observational learning Joyful learning environment with engaging activities that will help them to pursue their goals Conversational English Career counselling Involvement of multiple partners for synergistic use of best practices in education Partnering with local youth will provide a support system to students and strengthen bonds in the community. After-school Coaching Centers will be run to provide remedial education as well as opportunities to participate in sports, arts, cultural evenings, social service initiatives and other activities of the community. *
Challenges: These are children of migrant laborers and will move every 3-4 years. These children may have to dropout from school for this reason There are other communities, which need similar work to be done. Probable coordination with other avenues for employment and resettlement for their parents.
Opportunities: Partnering with organisations or committed youth outside the community/area. Meaningful exchange of ideas and ideologies. A strong network of people and organisations, which could provide for alternative employment opportunities. Connect with these children at a personal level and impart the same level of elementary education.
